In coordination with our partners at the New York State Department of Health and the Hudson Falls Central School District, Washington County Public Health is proud to announce we will be kicking off our COVID-19 vaccination efforts for the 5-11 age group and including additional efforts to vaccinate the school age youth in the 12-17 age range this Friday, December 3rd at the Hudson Falls Central School Auditorium (Main Entrance - 80 East LaBarge St, Hudson Falls)! Being an event for youth, a parent or legal guardian must accompany all youth in order to be vaccinated.
The event is open to all age eligible youth (ages 5-11, 12-17) and will feature the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Registration is required and can be completed at one of the links below (specific to the age of the eligible youth:
Those who wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at one of our clinics should:
  • Bring Identification (or proof of age for age eligible youth)
  • Wear a Short Sleeve Shirt
  • Plan to stay at least 15 minutes following vaccination for monitoring
These events are a continuation of our Public Health team's efforts to reach each and every age eligible member (or visitor) of/to our communities who wish to be vaccinated and help us #vaccinatewashingtoncounty together! We are thankful for and proud of the continued partnership with our state partners and Hudson Falls and surrounding school leadership teams, working to bring additional vaccination opportunities to all in our communities.
As of November 3, 2021, children ages 5 – 11 are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, and will protect New York’s children and adolescents from the virus. COVID-19 vaccines have undergone – and will continue to undergo – the most intensive safety monitoring in U.S. history. Young New Yorkers 5 – 17 can receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Information for parents, guardians and communities can be found here:
