What are your post high school plans?
I plan on attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the fall, but for the summer I’m simply going to work at the Lake George Beach Club and play baseball.
What is your intended major?
My intended major is civil engineering.
Who is your favorite/most influential FACS teacher and why?
My favorite FACS teacher is Ms. Morrison because she has helped me grow confident in my reading and writing skills, showed me how to handle larger assignments which will be helpful in college, and I enjoyed her class overall.
Describe your best memory at FACS
My best memory at FACS was when I played baseball in my junior year and we beat Lake George at our home field. I can’t remember the exact score but it was one of the most entertaining games I’ve been a part of.
What advice would you give younger students?
I would tell younger students to work hard in school and stay on top of their classes, but don’t be too narrow minded. High school is important but there’s much more to life than just that. Get into hobbies you like, hang out with friends and meet new ones when you can, and enjoy life while you’re young.

What are your post high school plans?
I plan on attending Castleton University (soon to be Vermont State University) in late August to pursue a degree in law.
What is your intended major?
Criminal Justice
Who is your favorite/most influential FACS teacher and why?
Mr. Mondella because he was my golf coach for three years, our supervisor for quiz bowl, and one of the greatest teachers for both my global history and Latin American studies for the past four years.
Describe your best memory at FACS
It would have to be a collection of all the afterschool activities I’ve done, mainly everything for the musical department and the quiz bowl team.
What advice would you give younger students?
Find the right crowd of people for you and stick with them.

I plan to attend SUNY Oneonta for a Bachelor’s Degree, and later finish a Master’s at MIT.
What is your intended major?
Computer Science
Who is your favorite/most influential FACS teacher and why?
Ms. Morrison was the most influential teacher in my student career at FACS. She was strict, but in a way where you knew that she was only doing what was best for your future. Every assignment was a test of my abilities and a test of preparedness to ensure that I could make it to the end of not only her class, but anything that came after it as well. Without her I never would have had the fortitude to excel in all my classes this year, and I never would have realized my writing potential either.
Describe your best memory at FACS
My favorite memory at FACS happened just a few days before I prepared this write-up at the 2023 Model Organization of American States conference that I attended for Mr. Mondella’s Latin American Studies Program. We spent all year preparing for this conference without knowing if we’d even be able to attend in-person, but all our hard work paid off when they announced that, with the combined efforts of all of my classmates, Fort Ann had won the award for overall most diplomatic delegation. The sense of pride that we all shared was unmatched by any other class, and I hope that future classes are able to achieve the same in the next years’ conferences.
What advice would you give younger students?
Don’t use A.I. to write your assignments. Everybody can tell.
