After learning that the United States uses 500 billion plastic bags each year, Mrs. Morris's class decided to do their part to create change. They purchased reusable bags to donate to the school cafeteria.

The students asked Mrs. Howerton, our cafeteria manager, to begin using the reusable bags to deliver daily snacks to classrooms, rather than using plastic bags. She was on board with the students' idea!
